This is a simple 1 to 300 cooking book which builds upon my combined Fishing & Cooking guide.

Before I begin, you need to realize this isn't a 1-to-60 guide to leveling, it's an instruction guide that can assist you in getting your cooking skills up quickly, if you need a leveling guide, the best one is Classic WoW leveling guides.

This is a simple 1 to 300 cooking book which builds upon my combined Fishing Cooking guide. It is based on the materials that are used in mobs.

It is much easier and more affordable to level up your cooking, while also leveling the fishing.

I've tried to pick the cheapest, easiest and fastest recipes to cook and, if possible, I've tried to stick to only trainer-only recipes. So get your ass to the cooking instructor and master the apprentice cooking skill.

After having been taught as an apprentice chef, you will be able to make three recipes. They will be used in conjunction with your skills in making fire.

Herb Baked Egg

Roasted Boar Meat

Charred Wolf Meat

These recipes can be used as-is, with no additional ingredients.

Let's get cooking!

Horde

From Levels 1 to 40

Eliminate any of the following:

Mulgore is home to Stalkers and Wolves who are searching for wolf meat that is stringy.

You'll require about 45 Wolf Meat or about 55 Boar Meat.

Cook the Boar Meat or Stringy Wolf Meat to 40. You can also practice on Spiced Wolf Meat level 10 that will enable you to increase your skill quicker, however moderate spices are needed.

At this point , you should consider fishing since it's a good way to fill the gaps, particularly in the Horde side. Some have requested recipes. We should stick to mob drops.

Cooking Guide 300-375

Horde

The first step is to master Master Cooking, so go to Baxter in the tavern in Thrallmar and buy the Master Cooking Manual.

300-325

You can get the recipe for Ravager dogs from Cookie One-Eye at Thrallmar (by Falcon Watch) Then you kill Ravagers around Falcon Watch until there is around 35-40 lbs of meat.

350 to 325

Two options here.

1.). Buy the Roasted Clefthoof recipe from Nula the Butcher in Garadar (Nagrand) and slaughter Clefthooves about Nagrand for about 35-40 meat or:

2.). 2. Get the Warp Burger recipe at Innkeeper Grilka in Stonebreaker Hold (Terokkar Forest). Then, kill Warp Hunters/Warp Stalkers throughout Terokkar Forest to get about 35-40 pieces of meat.

350 to 375

This is the main problem at the moment. You can reach 375 by fishing for Crawdads that are Furious in Terokkar Forest, and then cooking the fish. However, these lakes can only be reached if you have flying mounts.

These are the three lakes:

Lake Jorune, north west of Stonebreaker Hold.

Lake Ere'Noru - south east of Allerian Stronghold.

Blackwind Lake - in the south-east corner of the map, in the Skettis area.

You can purchase the recipe at Rungor in Stonebreaker Hold.

Also, you need to have an 430+ fishing ability in order to fish in the area.

You could also visit Blade's Edge Mountains to find Matron Varah Matron Varah, an NPC (she's at the Inn) She'll offer you a quest to find Serpent Flesh as well as Raptor Ribs. After you've completed the quest she'll provide you with the recipe for Crunchy Serpent, which will remain green until 375. You can now kill Scalewing's around Blade's Edge Mountains for Serpent Flesh. To reach 375, you will need 60. Fishing is my absolute favorite but that's only me.

Alliance

Master Cooking is the first step. Visit Gaston in Honor Hold to purchase the Master Cooking Manual.

300-325

Sid Limbardi is the one who has the Ravager Dog Recipe

In Honor Hold and then go in Honor Hold and then kill Ravagers around Falcon Watch until you have around 35-40 lbs of meat.

325 to 350

There are two choices.

1). You can buy the Roasted Clefthoof Recipe from Uriku in Telaar (Nagrand) and then you'll be able to take out Clefthooves in Nagrand for around 35-40 meat.

2. Get the Warp Burger recipe at Supply Officer Mills in Allerian Stronghold, Terokkar Forest. Kill Warp Stalkers/Hunters within Terokkar Forest for 35-40 meat.

350 to 375

This is the toughest part at the moment. There is a way to get 375 fishing for the Furious Crawdads in Terokkar Forest, and then cooking them. However, these lakes are only accessible if possess an air-borne mount.

The three lakes:

Lake Jorune, north west of Stonebreaker Hold.

Lake Ere'Noru is located south of Allerian Stronghold.

Blackwind Lake is located in the Skettis region. It is located in the southernmost point of the map.

The recipe is available from Biribi the Innkeeper of Allerian Stronghold.

However, there doesn't appear to be any way for Alliance to get hold of the Crunchy Serpent recipe at the moment, so levelling between 350 and 375 is going to be a huge problem for anyone without an air-borne mount or a 430+ fishing skill.
